Uniform deformation design of outrigger braced skyscrapers: A simplified method for the preliminary design stage

چکیده
A stiffness-based method for the preliminary design of outrigger braced skyscrapers is proposed. The founded on concept uniform distribution deformation. This approach originates from minimum-compliance optimization, in which stiffest layout structure sought a given amount material. Design variables include: flexural stiffness core structure, outrigger-belt elevation, and peripheral column dimensions. These parameters are specified by requiring curvature to be kept constant, yet minimum, as long allowable stress displacement constraints imposed. resulting procedure presented through simplified hand-calculation algorithmic framework, may used during stage estimate size elements give an initial assessment structural behavior. In order show practical application proposed method, equipped with one designed using algorithm. comparative analysis results reveals that provides rather high degree accuracy practice.
